Summary This position is located in the Division of Enforcement Litigation, Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation Branch. The function of the Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation Branch is to conduct the litigation in the U.S. Court of Appeals and Supreme Court involving the enforcement or review of Board Orders. This is a developmental position leading to the full performance grade of GS-905-14. The incumbent serves as a general attorney under the general direction of a Supervisory Attorney. Responsibilities As a General Attorney (Labor) (Appellate Litigation Attorney), GS-0905-12, your typical work assignments may include: Determining legal issues involved and conducting extensive research, studying court and Board decisions, legislative history, etc., for direct or analogous precedents, if any, and authorities in support of the Board's contentions.
