Become a key player as a Laboratory Manager at GEMTEC in Clarington, Ontario, where you will manage lab operations and a team of Technicians. This role requires strong leadership and a focus on continuous improvement.
In this managerial role, you will coordinate daily laboratory functions and mentor Laboratory Technicians. You will ensure compliance with necessary certifications, manage testing for aggregates, soil, and concrete, and maintain a clean workspace. Responsibilities also include producing accurate reports based on test results and following all health and safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate laboratory operations and team management
• Perform laboratory tests on construction materials
• Maintain calibration records for compliance
• Record and report testing data accurately
• Uphold health and safety standards
Requirements:
• 5+ years in laboratory management or related field
• Proven experience with materials testing procedures
