What you’ll be doing
- Delivering English and Maths Functional Skills to the Royal Navy, in classroom or field settings (including ships) or through 1‑2‑1 support.
- Monitoring, identifying and producing appropriate training documentation.
- Responsible for the Duty of Care of trainees under your control.
- Developing coaching and mentoring skills to support learners.
- Handling general administration tasks.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in an educational setting such as Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Higher Learning Teaching, SEN, Pupil Referral Unit Support or Tutor.
- Level 2 Key or Functional Skills in English and Maths, or an equivalent/above.
