We are looking for dedicated individuals to fill several Watchkeeping Mate roles with McKeil Marine. Candidates should possess a Mate Certificate and be adept at managing deck operations and ensuring the safe maintenance of shipping gear. You will also prepare voyage plans and conduct inspections in compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain navigational watch for safety compliance
• Ensure upkeep of hull and towing gear
• Inspect lifesaving and firefighting equipment
• Prepare all required voyage documentation
• Maintain logs for navigation equipment
Requirements:
• Transport Canada Mate Certificate required
• Certification in Marine Emergency Duties
• Experience in ISO/ISM Safety Management Systems
