Job Description
Drive operational excellence as a full-time Lead Hand in Saputo's warehouse located in St. John's, Newfoundland. Your leadership will be key in shipping, inventory, and team management.
As a Lead Hand, you will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and be instrumental in executing various warehouse tasks, from cleaning to managing shipments. Your responsibilities will include directing shifts, adhering to quality standards, and maintaining a safe work environment. Utilize your expertise to foster a collaborative team atmosphere focused on efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct all warehouse operations under supervisor guidance
• Organize and consolidate stock for shipping
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Safely operate powered equipment for transport
• Use SAP and Maestro to manage inventory
Requirements:
• Prior experience in material handling is advantageous
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification
• Proficient in using computers
