The Security Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily security operations of the Health Sciences Centre and Mental Health and Addictions Centre, the largest healthcare campus in Atlantic Canada. Operating within a complex and fast-paced healthcare environment, the Security Operations Lead provides leadership, guidance, and operational oversight to the security team while ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, physicians, visitors, and property.

This role serves as the primary liaison between Security Officers, hospital leadership, clinical departments, external agencies, and emergency services. The Security Operations Lead is responsible for maintaining high standards of service delivery, regulatory compliance, incident response, staff performance, and operational readiness across multiple healthcare facilities.
