Step into a full-time Industrial Mechanic role at our Elk Valley plant in Sparwood, B.C. This position features an attractive 4x4 work schedule focused on equipment maintenance.
As part of your role, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing stationary machinery. Your expertise as a certified Red Seal Millwright will contribute to maintaining high equipment availability and reliability. You will engage with various mechanical systems and adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate actively in safety programs and policies
• Work collaboratively with different trades for equipment reliability
• Repair and install mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Maintain and service plant stationary equipment
• Wear respirators when required for safety
