Position Description
This position is within the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) located at any NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC). The primary purpose of the fuels systems distribution worker is to perform basic and predictive delivery of fuels that are general and repetitive in nature. Examples illustrating the nature of the position are pump fuel, load fuel trucks, conduct airfield operations work as required and/or conduct water front fueling activities.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
The primary duties of the position involve relatively routine and basic fuel distribution work. Typical skills required to perform these duties are routine in nature, such as fueling and de-fueling tanker trucks, fueling aircraft or navy combatant ships, Operates gasoline or diesel powered vehicles with gross vehicle weight of 33,000 pounds transporting fuel throughout the facility and authorized customers.
