FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER

Summary You will serve as a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER in the COMMANDER NAVY INSTALLATIONS COMMAND (CNIC) FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER PUGET SOUND (FLCPS) of NAVBASE KITSAP SILVERDALE WA. Responsibilities You will operate various pumps, valves, vehicles, small craft, and other ancillary equipment to load, unload, and transfer petroleum and lubricating oils. You will patrol pipelines and assist in surveillance of pipeline systems, tanks and manifold valves for receiving and issuing POL products and services. You will assist with various ship docking, line, hose handling and related wharf dockside duties during fueling and unloading operations of ships, barges, and tankers. You will perform general preventive maintenance, such as painting, cleaning valve vaults, sumps, and other such duties as assigned.
