Our client is working on a tactical communications system integrating digital voice and data technology to provide secure radio, telephone, intercom and tactical internet services in a modular and fully integrated system. They are looking for a Software/Firmware developer to join the product development team in Calgary, to support ongoing future capability development.
The development team has the mandate to design and develop enhancements and capabilities on this communication system. The successful candidate will be responsible to design, develop and unit test new enhancements, capabilities and/or fixes for defects to support the communication system. Services consist of on-platform and off-platform communications, network data routing and forwarding, radio communications, Headquarter communications (fibre, Non-Line of Sight, etc…), and system management along with email, chat, and other IT services such as custom applications ...
