DEPARTMENT: Warehouse
JOB PURPOSE
The forklift operator will be responsible for operating a forklift to handle materials, supplies, and products within the facility. This position requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operate a forklift to move materials, supplies, and products to and from designated storage areas, production lines, or trucks.
Load and unload materials onto and off pallets, skids, or trucks using proper handling techniques.
Perform pre-operation checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking fuel levels, oil levels, tires, and other equipment components.
