Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving the container or cargo efficiently and safely. The incumbent is essential in the safe and organized transport of containers and cargoes in the yard and port

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of forklift to move the container vans within the Container Yard.

• Operate forklifts to lift the outbound and inbound containers and cargo within the vicinity, ensuring the containers are properly and safely secure and balanced during handling.
• Ensure the proper and safe stacking and arranging of container or cargo in the yard
• Coordinate with the LBE for any damage on the equipment

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Vocational Diploma/Short course Certificate
• At least 3 years of proven experience as Forklift Operator
• With valid driver's license 1238 code
• With forklift certification
• Can drive with Prime Mover an advantage
