Position: First Cook
Salary:
$27.98/hour
Salary will increase according to the current collective agreement after the 300-hour probation period.
The schedule is 70 hours per week. After 55 hours, overtime is paid at time-and-a-half.
Job Responsibilities
- Cook and prepare various foods following production guidelines and standardized recipes.
- Prepare the daily menu.
- Manage kitchen operations (staff, inventory, orders as needed).
- Be able to meet operational needs.
- Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment. Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, and colleagues.
- Ensure food quality and customer satisfaction.
- Clean the work area.
