Job Description
Drive long distances and safely transport goods as a Flexible Long Haul Truck Driver. Work varied hours in a two-person team across diverse locations.
This permanent role requires operating straight or articulated trucks while loading and unloading cargo. You will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, perform routine maintenance, and effectively communicate with dispatch. Attention to cargo safety is crucial throughout your journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely transport goods over long distances
• Load and unload trucks as needed
• Inspect vehicle conditions thoroughly
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks
• Keep accurate logs of service and travel
Requirements:
• Secondary school graduation certificate necessary
• Must hold a Class 1 or A driver's license
• Flexibility in work hours is essential
• Reliability and patience in driving duties
• Past experience in the field is a bonus
