Our Client, an AV Manufacturing company, is looking for a Fleet Support Engineer R&D for their Foster City, CA location.
Responsibilities:
Deep Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
Lead the investigation of critical failures on the R&D fleet, specifically targeting High Voltage (HV) isolation faults, Powertrain inverters/motors, and Chassis control systems.Perform Layer physical diagnostics using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and insulation testers to validate harness integrity and signal quality. CAN & Network Debugging:Analyze CAN bus traffic (using Vector CANalyzer, PCAN, or similar) to identify missing messages, error frames, or bus load issues causing system dropouts.Debug HMI (Human Machine Interface) issues, ensuring driver inputs (stalks, screens, buttons) are correctly interpreted by vehicle controllers.
