Support and empower first-generation college students through a variety of academic and co-curricular programs sponsored by FirstGen@UVM. Design events and workshops aimed at helping students succeed academically and personally, and provide direct consultation and guidance, connecting students to campus resources, provide support and information as students navigate complex systems and often unwritten rules of campus life.
Develop and implement programs supporting students as they transition into UVM during their first year. Supervise and train student staff, promote leadership opportunities, and manage communication and outreach to ensure First-Gen program visibility and engagement.
