Firefighter/Fuels (3 Positions)

Primary duties ore using power tools to remove juniper and brush, and will be required to fight fire under stressful conditions with hand and power tools from 8-76 hours. Other wild land fire related duties might involve fire prevention, patrol, detection, or prescribed burning. The incumbent will also be involved with the maintenance and repair of firefighting tools, equipment, and facilities, and will receive firefighting training. Other duties ore directly connected with the control and extinguishment of fires and/or monitoring and using firefighter apparatus and equipment. Requirements The duties of these positions are rigorous that employment is limited to physically vigorous individuals who meet established physical requirements Required to pass medical exam and arduous fitness test.
