Job Description
Become a Fire Safety Inspector with the City of Hamilton, dedicated to fire prevention and code enforcement. This pivotal role includes conducting building inspections and educating the public about fire safety.
Reporting to the Chief Fire Prevention Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and conducting inspections that promote community safety. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are essential as you prepare reports and engage with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections in line with fire safety regulations
• Enforce the Ontario Fire Code and municipal regulations
