FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Summary You will serve as an FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST. Responsibilities You will interpret the intent of financial statutes, agency regulations, and financial management regulations to provide guidance concerning accounting, budget, and financial actions. You will explain financial laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to managers, personnel, or customers. You will consolidate summary reports (e.g., monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, special reports) for use by managers in financial decision making. You will analyze financial transaction processing to determine validity of financial accounting and management reports. You will utilize current financial systems to input, analyze and correct financial data and transactions.
