Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Financial Data Analyst. This role is well suited to a numerate graduate who enjoys working with data, identifying patterns, and turning raw numbers into clear, actionable insights. You will work primarily in spreadsheets, analyzing operational and financial data to support business decisions across areas such as pricing, sales performance, and cost analysis. This is a remote position supporting a UK-based client, and the successful candidate will be expected to align their working hours with Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
Key Responsibilities
Import, clean, and organize large datasets from operational sources such as EPOS systems, sales reports, and cost records
Build and maintain spreadsheets and data models to track key metrics, including cost per unit, sales by channel, and margin analysis
Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within datasets and summarize findings in a clear, structured format
