Financial Controller (Plant)

Position

Financial Controller (Plant) required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Durban .

Requirements

• National Diploma or Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting or related qualification
• Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), CA(SA) or CIMA advantage
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

Duties

• Provide financial analysis and support to management and all operational areas of the business
• Monitor and support debtors and creditors
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register
• Control intercompany balancing
• Review weekly payroll
• Review and action financial variances (Budget / Forecast)
• Review and action Balance Sheet Account variances
• Ensure compliance with IFRS
• Maintain the plant CAPEX & Tooling Reports
• Generate information and reports for internal and external use
