Job Description
Overview
- Lead Distribution System Asset Maintenance (LV, 11 kV, 33 kV, 132 kV)
- Support Operations of Distribution system equipment (LV, 11 kV, 33 kV, 132 kV)
- Substation routine inspections and update maintenance records
- Receive safety documents (Authorizations) from Operation Technician as required by Distribution Safety Rules
- Cable Patrols and Cable Tracing
- Supervise or perform cable testing, fault location, identification, and spiking
- Supervise or perform Cable Testing and Cable Fault Location
- Supervise or perform Cable Identification and Cable Spiking
- Battery maintenance
- Customer service calls and outage calls
- Supervision of Service Contractors
- Supervise commissioning & testing of capital and network reinforcement projects
- Support Meter Technician duties where required
- Standby duties
