Job Description
Become a pivotal Field Support Mechanic with specialized skills in heavy duty equipment servicing. This role necessitates travel to remote drilling sites across Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, and the U.S. to conduct repairs and diagnostics on equipment.
As a key member of our drilling division, you’ll perform essential repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and generators while ensuring the service truck is well-stocked. Candidates must hold a valid Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician Certificate along with strong troubleshooting skills. This position also requires effective documentation and adherence to safety standards during field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and repair engines, hydraulics, and mud pumps
• Test and synchronize generator control systems
• Manage tools and parts on the service truck
• Create and manage work orders for ongoing repairs
