Field Salesperson

MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: - Applicant should have Grade 12 or the equivalent of National certificate NQF Level 5. - Must have a strong technical background and product knowledge bearings, seals, power transmission (belts, chain, gearboxes), electrical motors, fasteners - At least 3 to 5 years proven industry related sales experience - Basic metrology (use of a venier-calliper, reading of technical drawing and basic measurement of components, understanding and application of conversion charts) - Must have a valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle - Skilled in oral and written communication. Basic arithmetic skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, ratios and percentages) in order to draw up quotations - Computer skills in order to optimize the efficiency of processes within the unit.
