Skills & Experience Minimum of 2 years experience as a Field Guide in a similar lodge environment FGASA Level 2 qualification or higher (theory and practical completed) Registered with DEAT and THETA (where applicable) Trails Guide Certificate Valid First Aid Certificate SASSETA Certificates Valid South African Code 8 Drivers Licence Valid Public Drivers Permit (PDP) Excellent communication and guest-handling skills Strong passion for wildlife observation, conservation, and education Ability to work independently with enthusiasm and initiative Flexible and adaptable in dynamic environments Confident, humble, and professional in conduct Strong attention to detail and time management skills Developmental approach towards colleagues and team members Professional presentation and personal image Team player with a cooperative attitude and willingness to support the lodges overall success
