Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Field Guide in a similar lodge environment
- FGASA Level 2 qualification or higher (theory and practical completed)
- Registered with DEAT and THETA (where applicable)
- Trails Guide Certificate
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- SASSETA Certificates
- Valid South African Code 8 Drivers Licence
- Valid Public Drivers Permit (PDP)
- Excellent communication and guest-handling skills
- Strong passion for wildlife observation, conservation, and education
- Ability to work independently with enthusiasm and initiative
- Flexible and adaptable in dynamic environments
- Confident, humble, and professional in conduct
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Developmental approach towards colleagues and team members
