Fees Verification Officer

The role is part of MHA’s Civilian Generalist career track. Learn more: The primary role is to check and ensure that all plan fees paid by applicants for approval of fire safety plans are correct and in order and that the fees verification process is completed within the stipulated time frame.

• Read plans and compute plan fees. This entails:
  • Check & verify the plan fees for Building Plan (BP), Mechanical & Electrical Plan (M&E) & Fire Protection Plan (FP) submissions.
  • Issue Notice of Outstanding Plan Fee to the QP/applicant if there is a shortfall in the plan fees paid.
  • Send reminder to the QP/applicant if there is no response to the Notice of Outstanding Plan Fee.
  • Respond to Member of Public (MOP) and to QPs’ emails and telephone enquiries pertaining to plan fee computation and general matters.
