Fashion Technician

ABOUT THE ROLE Working alongside Senior Technicians and Academics, the successful candidate will have the ability to support our students , staff and researchers in both pattern cutting and garment construction. A strong working knowledge of the associated skill, techniques and processes (both practice based and digital) will be required along with the ability to deliver inductions and training to users within these environments, as well as the appropriate and safe operation of specialist equipment within these workshops and facilities and where necessary provide feedback to both students and staff (oral or written) Working to the highest of standards, engaging with and understanding the Health and Safety at work requirements (including Risk assessment, SOPs and audits) and ensuring compliance within the local environment.
