Responsibilities
- Diagnose livestock health issues
- Handle animals and monitor animal health
- Oversee clearing of fields
- Treat livestock health issues
- Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting
- Ensure farm safety and bio‑security procedures are followed
- Maintain livestock performance records and quality control and production records
- Supervise and oversee growing and other crop‑related operations
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Perform general farm duties
Qualifications
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Experience: 2 to 3 years
- Familiarity with automated irrigation, manure handling, feeding/watering systems, fertilizer applicators, harvesters, sprayers, tractors
- Authorized to work in Canada
