The West Coast General Hospital (WCGH) is seeking physicians to join our 'Community Hospital Inpatient Physician' (CHIP) team. Full‑time or part‑time positions are available.
The West Coast General Hospital fosters a collaborative team‑based environment with a focus on maximizing patient safety, championing culturally safe patient care and practicing trauma‑informed care.
Responsibilities
In this role, CHIP team members will act as MRP care for unattached & unassigned inpatients to the Family Practice service at WCGH. This includes rounding on inpatients to the service, arranging service transfers and inter‑facility repatriations, discharge planning and responding to urgent calls for admitted patients under this service.
