Family Practitioner/General Practitioner

Role and Facility Information

This position will work in partnership with the four W’SANEC Health Directors and their respective communities. The health directors advocate for their communities and are developing a plan to implement comprehensive accountability measures, oversight and support for the general practitioner. This position will be part of a larger on-reserve team comprised of Nurse Practitioners, Primary Care Nurses, Mental Health and Addictions Counsellors, Indigenous Wellness Supports. This team is part of a larger Saanich Peninsula Primary Care Network with additional resources – pharmacist, MH Clinicians, Social Workers. The position will start at Tsawout First Nation and will transition to the WSANEC clinic (Address: 1210 Totem Ln, North Saanich, BC V8L 5S4) when ready. Utilizing a hub and spoke model, providers will provide services in the other three W’SANEC communities.
