Faculty Assistant, Environment and Geomatics

Reporting to the Chair of the School of Environment and Geomatics (SEG) this position provides instructional support to the faculty, staff, and students in all of the School of Environment and Geomatics and assists in the operation of the SEG equipment room. Applicants may be offered partial appointments depending on experience with 50% available for general SEG faculty assistant duties and 17% available for GIS programming faculty assistant duties.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning Support:

• Assist with field and lab instruction across programs (e.g., field support, lab prep, grading, student supervision).
• Support lab setup/takedown and cover instructional gaps as needed.
• Participate in School and program meetings and contribute to instructional planning
