Facility Manager
Full‑time contract position located at YMCA of Northeastern Ontario’s John Island Camp near Spanish, ON.
Start date: May 1, 2026.
Rate of pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour.
Location: YMCA John Island.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site inspections and complete basic maintenance of camp buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Maintain and monitor camp infrastructure systems, including water systems, generators, composting systems, and fire protection equipment
- Supervise, train, and schedule the facilities staff team, and coordinate maintenance rotations for camp counsellors
- Schedule and oversee cleaning and maintenance of washrooms, showers, dining hall, maintenance shop, and waste removal
- Coordinate the ordering, transportation, and storage of diesel, propane, gasoline, and facility supplies from the mainland to the island
