Job Description
Overview
The Facilities Engineer is responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of the assigned facilities equipment and installations, including but not limited to: Air compressors, air conditioning units, swamp coolers, exhaust fans, fire suppression system, building and grounds, gates, alarm system, water heaters, space heaters, furniture, illumination system, etc.
Responsibilities- Daily walkthroughs by the building to verify everything is operating as expected.
- Inspection and troubleshooting for:
- Compressed air system, A/C units, swamp coolers, restrooms issues, emergency generators, electrical installations, etc.
- Conducts periodic inspections to ensure 5S’s and safety conditions are maintained in the building.
- Coordinates the activities of facilities contractors, ensuring safety compliance and issuing proper work permits, etc.
