Extendicare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated part-time Registered Practical Nurse to enhance our residents’ quality of life through excellent nursing care. Lead with integrity while working as part of a team.
In the role of Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), you will collaborate closely with the Director of Care to provide goal-oriented, patient-focused care in a supportive environment. You will conduct clinical assessments, coordinate care plans, and ensure documentation accuracy while responding swiftly to resident needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete resident assessments and care/service plans
• Manage medication administration and documentation
• Participate in resident care conferences
• Oversee care assignments for nursing teams
• Promote Infection Prevention and Control measures
Requirements:
• Valid registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
• Preferred experience in long-term care settings
