The Assistant Director of Care will report to the Director of Care, leading initiatives that support high-quality, resident-centered care. You will manage various clinical areas, ensuring compliance with Extendicare’s accreditation standards while fostering both resident and family engagement in care practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage program areas with focus on quality care
• Collaborate with various teams to mitigate clinical risks
• Uphold compliance with care regulations and standards
• Engage staff and families in delivering effective care
• Promote quality improvement initiatives throughout the home
Requirements:
• At least three years in nursing within long-term care
