The Durable Slate Company is an award-winning historic roofing contractor specializing in slate, cedar/wood shake, copper, and clay-tile roofing. Established in 1986, we are known nationwide for exceptional craftsmanship, safety, and preservation excellence. We’re currently hiring Roofing Technicians who take pride in their work and are open to learning historic roofing using traditional methods and delivering high-quality work. Through our paid apprenticeship you will be able to master the art of historic roofing.
What You’ll Do
+ Install, repair, and restore traditional slate, tile, cedar shake and copper roofing systems
+ Work with natural slate, clay tile, copper flashing, and related materials
+ Maintain safe, professional job sites and follow company safety standards
