Become a vital part of MDA's Satellite Systems team as a Buyer Planner in Montreal. Focus on material planning and procurement negotiations to drive efficiency in supply chain processes.
As a Buyer Planner, you will analyze MRP messages and take decisive action. A strong background in procurement, especially for electronic components, alongside a relevant degree will position you for success in our fast-paced environment. This role requires fluency in both French and English.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate MRP messages and implement solutions
• Negotiate procurement terms and pricing with suppliers
• Manage purchase orders and follow up on shipments
• Report material availability issues proactively
• Assist in new supplier development and qualification
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
• Relevant experience of at least 2 years
• Familiarity with Export Control Regulations
