Job Description
A new all-day café opening in Fairfield County is looking for an Executive Chef to join the opening
team. The concept is rooted in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines with a serious approach
to coffee and a strong bake program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
— Build and lead the kitchen team from pre-opening through ongoing operations
— Establish systems for prep, production, scheduling, and quality control
— Own food cost, labor, and payroll budgets
— Drive menu execution with consistency and precision
REQUIREMENTS
— Minimum 3–5 years in a culinary management role
— Fluency in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines
— Experience or genuine comfort in an all-day café environment
— Working knowledge of or curiosity about pastry and baking
— Strong systems thinker with P&L literacy
— A track record of developing and retaining kitchen talent
