EVS - Floor Care Technician - Full Time

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Periodic advanced floor care duties include stripping, buffing, and waxing of hard floors, carpet extraction and shampooing, and marble maintenance.
• Vacuum carpeted floor surfaces.
• Dry and wet mop hard-surface floors.
• Mix chemicals accurately and safely to perform duties.
• Ensure all equipment is kept clean and report any malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
• Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Knowledgeable and proficient in all EVS equipment, chemicals, & techniques.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards.
• Ability of simple reading, writing, math, and complex task completion skills is required.
• Must have the following skills: coordination, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, independent judgment, and decision making.
