Job Description
Our client is a specialist engineering company currently on the market for an experienced Estimator to be based at their headquarters in Co Tyrone.
The successful Estimator will undertake the preparation of estimates, variations, quantified schedules of rates and bills of quantities , with the purpose of submitting competitive tender bids, following them up and securing work for the company.
Responsibilities:
Quantification of labour, materials, and plant, based on take-offs from drawings, detailed review of specifications and other tender documentation. Prepare and send bid packages for suppliers to price including strict dates for return; follow up to ensure tender prices are received by agreed deadlines.
