Lingopie is the world''s 1st language learning platform that uses TV shows and movies to teach languages. The platform offers TV shows with subtitles in native languages, and each word is clickable to provide translations. Clicked words are added to a personal word-bank with a built-in flashcard feature for review. Users can also adjust video speed and access additional features.
Responsibilities
Transcribe and create subtitles for Welsh TV shows, films, web series, Kids content, Educational content, and Music.
Build the Welsh catalog by creating and managing categories, researching content, and following a launching schedule based on user requests for language learning.
Requirements
Fluent (C2) in Welsh – a must
Fluent (C2) in English – a must
Knowledge of AI tools for transcription and translation
Knowledge of Subtitle Edit and/or Aegisub
Attentive to details
