Job Summary:
The Engineering Technician serves as a critical link between engineering, quality, and production by reviewing and interpreting customer specifications, engineering drawings, and technical documentation and translating them into clear work instructions, manufacturing process sheets, and shop aids to establish and create step by step guidelines for operational processes.
Essential Job Functions:
The Engineering Technician creates, updates, and maintains shop work instructions, Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS), setup procedures, and shop aids based on customer provided purchase orders, specifications, drawing and standards. This position conducts peer reviews and verifies engineering process controls to ensure document accuracy before release.
