This role supports prototype manufacturing planning and processes by scheduling and planning work for internal assembly and manufacturing processes, as well as external contractors. The individual will work closely with engineering customers and prototype engineering and technical staff to plan and schedule work that meets the requirements of our Combat Mission Systems customers. In addition to planning and scheduling, some procurement of materials and supplies will be required.
The SIF Planning Specialist will assume responsibility for the assignment of tasks and the accurate billing and charging of outside contractor labor to customer contracts. Daily monitoring and reporting of program financials is required.
Safety is the top priority in our prototype shop. The individual will serve as a contact and liaison to the site safety team. Tasks associated with fostering a safety culture include Gemba walks with the SIF Manager, monthly safety...
