About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established mining operation for a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead and oversee all engineering functions on site. This role is based at a mining operation in Limpopo Province, within reasonable proximity to Polokwane. The role will require daily travel to site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering function, including mechanical, electrical, and plant maintenance teams
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA)
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize plant availability and reliability
- Manage and control engineering budgets and capital projects
