**The Role:**
The Power and Signal Distribution Systems (PSDS) consist of Low & High Voltage Wire Harnesses/Cables interfacing with electrical devices throughout the vehicle. PSDS also consists of a variety of sub-components (i.e., coax, LVDS/USB and ethernet cables, clips, coverings, connectors, etc). The Power and Signal Distribution Systems (PSDS) DRE is responsible for the design, validation, and release of the harnesses/cables for vehicle programs. It is a DRE position within Mechatronics & Sensing Hardware Team. The position requires global collaboration with vehicle program teams, suppliers, and other product development teams (i.e., electrical architecture, interiors/exterior, body, chassis, vehicle validation, safety, purchasing, marketing, and manufacturing) to integrate and execute the harnesses and cables in the vehicle.
