The Process Engineer supports manufacturing operations through the development, optimization, and implementation of Die Attach/Clip Attach (DACA) processes. This role enhances process capability, drives cost and quality improvements, supports new product introduction, and provides technical leadership to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
What you will do:
Develop new processes to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness for assigned stations.
Qualify and release new equipment platforms or process technologies.
Conduct machine and process capability studies; analyze data to identify improvement opportunities.
Implement process improvement strategies using DOE, SPC, and other statistical methods.
Prioritize and execute process and quality improvement projects based on business needs.
Update and maintain process documentation such as FMEA, OCAP, control plans, and work instructions.
