Responsibilities
- Report to the Supervisor, Open Pit Engineering and act as liaison between Engineering, Geology, and Mine Operations regarding all short‑range production activities.
- Produce, communicate and steward weekly Open Pit mine plans.
- Develop new strategies and ideas to optimise mine production.
- Engage stakeholders to manage changes of new initiatives or mine plan objectives.
- Report daily advance (Drill, Blast, Load, Haul) at the morning production meeting.
- Provide the mill with daily and weekly ore blends.
- Conduct haul road inspections and submit reports to Engineering and Operations leadership.
- Track compliance of waste dump development compared to plan and design.
- Conduct a daily mine tour with Mine Operations General Supervisor.
