Job Description
Overview:
QUALITY ENGINEER Ensures that the product meets the established specifications by implementing controls, tests, inspections, audits, analysis, improvements, and corrective and preventive actions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Follow-up to the FPY (First Pass Yield) and TPY (throughput yield) of the production lines in the fulfillment of the established goals.
- Implements and ensures the correct functioning of quality controls such as inspections, SPC, quality criteria, tests, quality alerts, process/product audits, line stoppages, etc., including the corresponding documentation and training.
- Conducts rejection analysis, test results, Pareto analysis, trends, etc., to identify the causes and ensures to follow up with responsible partners, (Production, ME, SE, ATE, SQE, etc.) opportunities for improvement in terms of FPY, TPY and/or Scrap that is out of goal.
