Engineer, Electrical (Redwater)

What You’ll Do:

• Complete Instrumentation engineering design of capital projects. Review designs prepared by external engineering consultants.
• Prepare P&ID; inputs, instrument index, input/output (I/O) count and assignments, instrument loop diagrams, instrument datasheets and sizing, load calculations.
• Support detailed instrumentation design, including interfacing to PLCs, SIS/BMS and DCS systems. Develop MRs, pressure hook‑up, installation details, cable selection/sizing, material selection, piping, tubing and tube‑fitting for instruments based on applicable standards and codes for projects from execution through to project closeout.
• Participate in field reviews and assist planners by providing design‑related input through RFIs and observations.
• Participate in Factory acceptance test, installation, commissioning, integration, validation and associated with startup activities, as required.
